History

The Broomfield Bird Club was founded in 2016 to offer social, educational, and outreach opportunities for individuals who are interested in wild birds. The Broomfield Bird Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

We are dedicated to:

• Promoting interest in wild birds as we observe and enjoy them.
• Providing Bird Club members and the community with opportunities to learn about wild birds, their habitats, and local birding locations.
• Creating opportunities for community members to become acquainted, and to share information and experiences with wild birds.
• Fostering projects related to wild birds, such as bird counts, building nesting boxes, etc.
• Supporting the protection and conservation of wild birds and their habitats.

Broomfield Bird Club encourages responsible birding, as outlined in the American Birding Association’s ABA Code of Birding Ethics.
